| | Our double flowing greyhound logo was designed by commission by artist Jesse E. Christensen of Maple Valley, Washington. We wanted our logo to show not only the strength and speed of a greyhound but also their graceful spirit. We feel that he captured the heart of a retired racer in the logo design.

Our group is operated by volunteers and is
funded solely by donations. We need your help to
continue the work we are doing to place these
retired racing Greyhounds into loving homes.
Some of the expenses we need help with
are general veterinary care and injury repairs,
food, medications, transportation & grooming
supplies.
- Recycled License Plate Plaques
In honor of our “recycled” racing greyhounds, one of our adopters, Lee (aka greytdaze), is crafting plaques made from recycled license plates and reclaimed wood and is donating 50% of the purchase price to our group.

- GPALV is growing and working on continuing to raise awareness about ex-racing greyhounds as pets. We are expanding our Meet and Greets to another Petsmart. This one is located in the northwest on Durango and Centenial Pkway just pass the 215. This is in the same plaza as Homegoods and Kohl's. We will be just inside the entrance with information about adoption and of course, an ex-pen full of beautiful greyhounds. Come and visit and be sure to bring your hounds for a greyhound fix. We will be at this location on the second Saturday of eachmonth
from 10 AM-2 PM.
